   Not going to buy a Galaxy S unless Samsung convinces me that they can do a better job than this of getting Android updates out the door. They could make things a lot easier for themselves by just giving their customers the option of going with plain old vanilla android. Then the effort to adopt the latest android versions would be minimal. The Galaxy S hardware is good enough to compete on its own. The customized software isn't necessary.

   behold owners should consider themselves extremely lucky to get 1.5. i, galaxy i7500 user, will most probably never see this update. btw if i ever change my phone, you can bet it’s not going to be a samsung

     We consider ourselves screwed. We were promised 2.0, and have video evidence that shows Samsung making that claim . The Behold 2 is only eight months old, fully capable of running Froyo and Samsung has abandoned it. Many new Android apps require 2.X to run, so no, we arent lucky at all, we are angry and screwed.

   i had mine for 6 months and sold it because of the update problem. they said there would never be an update so i sold it. i have always bought samsung but NEVER again! the 2.xx was the reason i bought the damn thing! SAMSUNG CAN KISS MY ASS! on a side note i was looking at tv's yesterday and came up to the samsung section and i didnt even LOOK. i will never buy SAMSUNG anything. . . . . . . EVER!

   I PERSONALLY LOVE SAMSUNG AND ALL ITS PRODUCTS. BEING NOT MUCH OF A TECH GEEK I REALLY DON'T UNDERSTAND THE FUSS OVER THESE UPDATES OR LACK THEREOF. EVERY PHONE, TV, OR PC I'VE EVER PURCHASED FROM SAMSUNG HAS BEEN TOP NOTCH…..EVERYONE NEEDS TO QUIT COMPLAINING ANYWAYS, WITH TECHNOLOGY THESE DAYS EVERY PHONE ON THE MARKET WILL BE OBSOLETE IN A YR ANYWAY

     That is no excuse, YOU SEEM TO BE A CONFORMIST. People are upset because Samsung promissed something as part of the purchace to hook them into buying. Then blatently and irresponssibly denied providing it. I used to like Samsung and spoke highly of them to all my friends, but now these FUCKEN PRICKS ARE GOING TO WISH THEY KEPT THEIR WORD. I HAVE BEEN AND STILL AM REFFERING TO ALL NOT TO PURCHACE SAMSUNG. SALES ALREADY HAVE BEEN DROPPING.

   honestly, if i update my phone i you can bet it isnt gonna be a samsung if i have to download the updates of the internet on my laptop to then find out a way to put it on my phone. seriously, unless samsung learns how to get these updates out along with all the other phones, theyre gonna be losing lots and lots of customers. BTW CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHERE TO DOWNLOAD THIS AND HOW TO INSTALL IT ON THIS PHONE?
