HTC EVO fans eager to get their hands on Sprint’s new device might want to consider heading over to Radio Shack to put in their pre-order (if you still can in your area). Radio Shack will open select stores at 6 AM local time so anyone who pre-ordered at the store can get their phone activated a few hours earlier.
The Shack is selling the HTC EVO 4G for $199 on a 2-year agreement. It’s also giving customers a 15% discount on accessories, in addition to the $20 credit on accessories that the company already promised to give customers who purchase the EVO. Check with your local Radio Shack for more information about store hours on launch day (Friday, June 4) and pre-order availability.
For anyone who isn’t ready to pull the trigger on the HTC EVO, which we reviewed last week, Radio Shack will also have “Experience Centers” that simulate how the EVO operates.
