According to some recently leaked T-Mobile training documents, it looks like a new Android handset is soon going to come available. The model is the Motorola Charm with Motoblur and in addition to a new model, this will also mark a new form factor.

Unfortunately though, so far the details on the Charm are mostly unknown. In terms of the version of Android, that is expected to be 2.1. Additionally based on the image you can clearly see Motoblur. Otherwise, what we have is a rather square and blocky looking phone which is sporting a 4-row hardware QWERTY keyboard below a touchscreen display.

Additionally, those leaked documents mention the enhanced version of Motblur which is said to have an updated home screen complete with 7 panels, pre-loaded and resizeable Motorola widgets and social media enhancements.

Personally, I am not sure on this form factor, but at the same time I can see the potential. After all there are plenty of people that want Android, but still want easy access to a keyboard — sort of like a BlackBerry style handset. Given that, it should be interesting to see what price point the Charm will debut with and what success it will see. If nothing else, we can be thankful that its going to arrive with Android 2.1.
