DataViz, a leading developer of mobile software, offered a preview of its upcoming Android app DocumentsToGo 3.0. Androinica has already raved about DocsToGo – the premiere option for Android users who want to read, create, and edit Microsoft Office documents – and the latest version of the software does well to continue that tradition.
DocumentsToGo 3 includes a new file browser, changes to the interface, and the ability to open Microsoft Office 2010 documents. There’s also improved support for reading PDF files on your phone and the ability to pinch-to-zoom to see more content.
Price is still yet to be determined so don’t quote me on this, but the DataViz rep said that current owners of DocsToGo should be able to upgrade for free. This is not set in stone, so don’t send me hate mail if that proves to not be the case.
Here’s a demo video of the new changes.
