The HTC Desire is officially heading to US Cellular here in the US, but that seems to only be one of the new Desire announcements. In addition we are also learning that Australian carrier Telstra has launched it as well.
The specs are what we have come to know and include a 3.7 inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 5 megapixel camera and Android 2.1 with Sense UI. This release does mark Telstra as the exclusive carrier for the Desire in Australia.
In terms of availability — now. And for pricing, as low as free on a 24 month contract.

That free plan has a huge 150MB included. Good luck with that Telstra customers! LOL.
Oh, it gets worse. i could live with the 150mb included, but the plan basically has no included calls – $60/month for the phone, and you'll have to pay for 80% of your calls.
