It looks like the time has come, well the time that Rogers customers can go ahead and place a pre-order for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 anyway. Overall there is nothing really surprising here, but just to sum up the details. The Xperia X10 can now be pre-ordered and will cost $149.99 on a three year agreement. It can be purchased in “Sensuous Black” or “Luster White” and requires a plan of at least $50 per month. That plan will come with 150 minutes, 50 bonus minutes, unlimited messaging and 500MB of data. Thankfully though, you can double that data for an extra $5.00 per month, which brings you to $55 per month. Those interesting in picking up the Xperia X10 can hit the via link below.

Thanks krepler for proving the update and link in a previous comment.

It should be noted that the above pre-order offer is for new customers only. For existing customers, there doesn't appear to be any pre-order options, though Rogers suggests you visit Rogers Plus stores on April 15th to get your X10: https://www.rogers.com/web/content/x10-hup
Also note that for both new and existing customers, the X10 will include a 16GB MicroSD card, and a promo offer will mail you Sony's new MW600 headset for free.
With higher end phones with good quality apps, 500 MB or 1GB is just not going to cut it. Even if you manage to stay under 1GB, you'll always be worrying about going over and paying some ridiculous fee for extra bandwidth. Either hold out / demand a 6GB plan or just stay away from providers that don't offer unlimited bandwidth. Wind mobile offers unlimited and the Nexus One works great on their network.
