The way it looks as of now, Android users will be able to make app purchases by way of PayPal — in addition to Google Checkout. The details are coming courtesy of PayPal’s Benelux Country Manager Dennis van Allermeersch who stated that it should be available sometime in Q2 2010. So yes, we still have some time before this will roll-out but it sounds like good news to me, after all its always nice to have options.
According to the details, once available this will be good to go for the Australia, Canada, France, UK, Italy, the Netherlands and the United States.
Personally, I am fine with Google Checkout, but would prefer PayPal only because I use that for so much else. For me, the only reason I use Google Checkout is because of Android and given that it seems unnecessary for me. What about you, will you stick with Google Checkout?
