Docks, HTC-Nexus One
If you are a Nexus One owner today just got a little better. According to Android and Me and the Google Nexus One blog, Nexus One owners can now get their much awaited car dock. Taking some cues from the DROID dock that was released during the early days of the DROID, the Nexus One Car dock allows users to dock their phone and take advantage of the Android OS’s Car Home interface and even charging capabilities.
Some of the features on the dock include:
- charges the Nexus One with access to any 12V utility socket
- uses Bluetooth to allow users to enjoy hands free operation
- allows use the option of playing music through the speakers in the dock (I wonder how that sounds!)
- gives user the Car Home interface for easier searching, music playback, and navigation while driver
I think that this dock adds a lot of functionality and may even justify the $55 price tag. Sales of the dock went live sometime earlier today and if you just can’t wait to get one follow the link to get your own.

Wow I love the google nexus one car dock gadget. the feature that I highly appreciated is it charges the nexus, you can call your friends without holding the phone and it makes you easier to search music and play on the dock while driving your car. http://www.dreamwalkmobile.com/
