Android Phones
HTC Incredible is now the Droid Incredible, HTC Desire heading to US Cellular. Which will you get?

HTC, Verizon
The HTC Incredible has gone as far as one phone can go without being official until today, when Verizon put up a coming soon page and confirmed the phone will launch April 29th. The coming soon page is momentarily blocking access, but that’s of no consequence. We already know that Verizon will carry the Incredible and likely release it at the end of month.
Meanwhile, the HTC Desire slipped into a rebate form for U.S. Cellular before the company even displayed any signal it was carrying the phone. I still consider this a rumor because we have seen typos or mislabeled text entered on company documents before, but its interesting that a smaller carrier would carry this phone while all of the Big Four continue to ignore it.
What I’d like to know is who among you will buy the Droid Incredible or HTC Desire on U.S. Cellular? There are plenty of people hesitant to switch for fear of waiting for future updates of Android, Verizon’s heavy costs/U.S. Cellular’s lower status, or simply holding out for something new. Who is going to take the plunge and get either phone?

I have the Droid today and quite frankly, I'm not a big fan of the design. I'm constantly hanging up on people, and the phone is too bulky to fit in my front pocket and still allow me to bend. I'm seriously thinking of buying the Incredible and just selling my Droid.
I prefer the design of the Droid over almost all the Android mobile phones in the market…
Don't like the roundy look of Iphone either…
I'm definitely interested in the Incredible since I'm currently tied to Verizon. I passed on the first Droid, but I really like what I see with this HTC phone. Does anyone think Verizon's Nexus phone would be any better? I would LOVE to see Verizon get the iPhone, but seems like that's going to be a while…
I think the Nexus One is better for a number of reasons. 1. No sense UI. I much prefer the stock Android interface. 2. With Nexus One phones you will always get Android OS updates more quickly because pesky intermediaries aren’t in the way of timely releases. 3. Noise cancelling phone technology.
Wasn't aware of the noise canceling phone tech on the N1. That's a pretty good reason to wait. Wonder what the delay is on the N1 coming out.
Only douches like iPhones go away
I love the Moto Droid design and would not trade it for any currently available handset.
US Cellular comes out cheaper for me on a monthly plan, due to their unlimited incoming(from everything, not just cell phones), so I might get the Desire. I'd prefer a nice Android handset with a slide-out keyboard, so I'm still looking at other carriers, but it's a matter of weighing this against extra cost per month.
As for worrying about future upgrades, I know they'll be slow coming from US Cellular, but that's what XDA-Developers.com is for!
I am torn as to which droid to go with at UScellular cause I really don't think I would like the touch key board that is on the HTC. My son says that you get use to it. Anyone have any experience with the full touch droid?
