The rumors surrounding the announcement and release of the HTC Supersonic are becoming pretty common. Just last week, the WSJ reported that Sprint was going to be announcing the Supersonic during CTIA.
Well, CTIA is upon us and it looks like that announcement is coming today. The latest in the rumored release date saga is coming from Sprint Premier customers who were alerted that Sprint would be announcing “a groundbreaking new device.”
Of course, most are assuming that when Sprint says groundbreaking they mean the 4G capable HTC Supersonic. And I kind of agree, that sort of is a groundbreaking device.
Just to recap some of the features, the Supersonic will come equipped with a 4.3-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, be powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and be running Android 2.1 with the Sense UI.
Here is to hoping we see that announcement as rumored.

Actually, the announcement is most likely coming Wednesday as that's when the Sprint CEO's keynote is. It seems that even Computer World mixed it up – http://www.androidpolice.com/2010/03/23/the-4-3-1…

Wow 4.3 inches. I love my nexus 1 screen but damn sometimes I wish I were on sprint just for this phone.
