The HTC Incredible has seen more than its fair share of leaked images and rumors up to this point, and now it looks like, or at least it is being rumored that the Incredible will be available with Verizon Wireless in two weeks.
The details on the release are coming courtesy of DailyTech who are reporting that they have spoken with sources at Verizon and have “confirmed that they HTC Incredible was supposed to begin to arrive at Verizon Wireless stores in two weeks.”
Assuming for a moment this is accurate, I have to wonder what this will do for any potential Nexus One sales. Personally I was excited for the Nexus One on Verizon and thinking about getting one to replace my Droid Eris, but now it looks like I am going to be waiting a few weeks to make that decision.
Feature wise, and just to recap, the Incredible is expected to feature a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 512MB ROM, 1GB of RAM, a 3.7-in AMOLED (800 x 480) display, optical trackpad, an 8-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and autofocus and running Android 2.1. But most important, at least most important if you ask me is Sense UI.

I wonder if those specs will be correct. If that is the case why lunch the N1 on Verizon and kill it within such a short time frame.
well many people will by the incredible over the N1 if Verizon will be selling it in store.
Verizon would never allow Google a CDMA phone on their network and sell all those phones, Verizon wants all that money in their pocket. I was surprised that they went along with the deal but now we know why, they have their own phone coming out at the same time with the same specs if not better. They also know people want to see what they are buying befor laying down all that cash plus the phone could be subsidizsed by verizon over a two year contract.
