Official Nexus One spare batteries available from Google

Have a Nexus One? Need a spare battery? Well, you are in luck because Google has recently begun selling the official 1400mAh Nexus One batteries. Price wise they are selling for $25 each plus shipping.

Its always nice to have a second battery available but the big issue comes with keeping the second battery charged. Maybe we can see Google release a dock that charges the Nexus One and has an extra slot to charge a second battery at the same time.

As far as the battery, these are the regular ones that ship with the Nexus One which means that you can expect to get up to;

  • Talk time: Up to 10 hours on 2G, Up to 7 hours on 3G
  • Standby time: Up to 290 hours on 2G, Up to 250 hours on 3G
  • Internet use: Up to 5 hours on 3G, Up to 6.5 hours on Wi-Fi
  • Video playback: Up to 7 hours
  • Audio playback: Up to 20 hours

Finally, there is a limit of five per person.
