Japanese carrier SoftBank has recently announced that they will soon be offering the HTC Desire. Well, more specifically, they will be making it available sometime in late-April. As of now, SoftBank has not announced any pricing or plan details. But that aside, it looks like the Desire will not be crippled by a lack of, or a removal of features. The press release clearly notes that the Desire will feature the Android Market, Gmail, Google Maps and Google in general. And I have to add a sarcastic “thanks AT&T” because now we have to worry about which features will be removed and/or limited in Android phones. Anyway, here is to a successful Japanese launching of the HTC Desire.
