Angry HTC Tattoo owners often complain in our comments section about being unable to download certain apps because of their small screen. Well, Absolute Radio iAmp has gone out of its way to create an app that’s QVGA-approved. OGSLabs has demonstrated a Tattoo-compatible version of its music streaming application to play stations on London-based Absolute Radio.
The Absolute Radio app has also been updated for use on other Android phones like the Nexus One and HTC Hero. Users can now leave the app without fear that the radio station will stop playing once they attempt to browse the web or complete other tasks. The app has been updated to support background playing to ensure listeners can access Absolute Radio. OGSLabs is also showing off how the app performs on the snappy Nexus One. Here’s a video detailing the app’s performance on each.
