Verizon Wireless brings back the BOGO offer on the DROID and DROID Eris

Once again, the buy-one-get-one offers have returned on Android handsets at Verizon Wireless. Effective immediately those interested will be able to purchase either a Motorola DROID or an HTC DROID Eris and get a second for free.

The one nice part with this latest BOGO offering is that you are able to get a DROID (or the Eris) for free, well free as long as you purchase the first. This is compared to the last BOGO offer which only allowed you to get the Eris for free.

Price wise, expect to drop $199.99 for the Motorola DROID and $79.99 for the HTC DROID Eris. And all handsets will requires a 2-year agreement.

Finally, while these Verizon BOGO offers are nice, I cannot help but point out that you can usually get a better deal at other retailers such as Amazon or Wirefly.
