A new over-the-air (OTA) update has begun to roll out for T-Mobile users sporting either a Motorola Cliq or Samsung Behold II. Unfortunately, neither of these handsets are going to be sporting OS 2.1 after this update, but there are some nice features regardless.
In terms of the Motorola Cliq;
- Improved battery life
- New Manage SIM card application
- Support of .WMA and .WAV media files
- Removal of the imeem mobile application
- Improved software performance and stability
- Improved widget response
- Decreased ‘force close’ error messages
- Other various fixes
As for the Samsung Behold II;
- Improved touch screen and dialer functions
- Fix MMS, Messaging, and E-Mail issues
- Battery life improvement
- New Apps
As for when you can expect to see these. Well, the update for the Cliq began yesterday and the Behold II is expected to arrive sometime between the 18th and 25th of this month.

Too Little Too Late I've already purchased the nexus one.. I can't believe the 4 month old click is still on 2 year old software. Get with it motorola. though what do I care I'll never buy another moto.

Yeah, I would honestly be happy with 1.6 on my Behold at this point. And it would be nice to not have to run PandaJHome over TouchWiz, which I had to install in order to turn off simcard notifications, get my icons to line up and close the app drawer without opening an app half the time. I shoulda saved my money and bought a MyTouch.
