Coming by way of an official press release, we now know that the Motorola Backflip will be available with AT&T as of March 7, 2010. Price wise, those interested can expect to pay $99.99. But before anyone gets excited about a low price, there is a catch — the $99.99 price point comes AFTER a $100 mail-in-rebate. Otherwise the standard two-year agreement also applies.
In the meantime, while we are waiting for March 7 to arrive, AT&T also has a few promo videos on the Backflip page, which you can see here.
And interestingly enough, they are touting a feature that I seem to have missed before, its called “U-Pick” and is described as;
“Want another feature? Find and download the app that will do it from the Android Market!”
Nice way to highlight the Android Market.
