The netbook/slate/tablet market is starting to get very crowded, but I’m starting to wonder if any of it makes any sense. Case in point: Hivision’s PWS700CA netbook, which is based on Android. An Android-based netbook is nothing new, but Hivision’s planned $100 price tag makes this stand out from the crowd of devices. The specs? They aren’t so oustanding.
Below is a video review of the Hivision PWS700CA. The Android netbook has a 7-inch display, 600MHz ARM926 process, 128MB of RAM, WiFi, and 720p video playback. I just don’t see the point of having a computer with only 600MHz and Android, but I’ve learned that there’s always someone willing to take on a new device. Take a look at this video review from ARMDevices.net.
