A “dump” of the Nexus One began making the rounds of developers and modders last night, leading to a widespread leak of the ROM. While developers were obviously excited to acquire an early look at the Android 2.1 ROM used in Nexus, you’ll probably more interested in finding out what TheseAreTheDroids were able to uncover about the phone.
- Snapdragon is a go, and Qualcomm’s speedy processor is on board
-Audience A1026 Noise Canceling Chip for improved audio quality
- OpenGLES 2.0 is present
These details basically confirm previous speculation that the Nexus One comes with a fast processor and improved communication/media features. The leaked ROM also gave us some insight into a few visual elements of the phone.
