Sprint HTC Hero apparently doing well, gets tagged with “Strong Demand”

Android Phones, Carriers, HTC, Sprint
We do not often see any stats about just how well certain phones sell, and living in the little tech bubble that many of us do things may often seem a little more popular than they are with non-techies. That said, I will take what I can get in terms of information used to judge the popularity of a phone.
Anyway, earlier this morning, while checking the Sprint website for the Samsung Moment listing I noticed a nice little addition to the HTC Hero listing.

And for those of you who may be browsing without graphics loading, that above image noted the HTC Hero as being under a “Strong Demand” warning potential customers that they may experience a delay in shipping.
Now I really would hate for anyone to have to wait any longer for a phone to come in, but at the same time it makes me (as an Android fan) smile just a little bit.
