Samsung Moment now officially available with Sprint

Nothing surprising here as we knew this was coming, instead this post serves more as a reminder — but a reminder that Sprint now has two Android handsets available for purchase.

As of yesterday, November 1, the Samsung Moment is now available for purchase with Sprint and can be found at any of the retail locations as well as online and via telesales.

In terms of price, the Moment will set you back $179.99 but that price comes after a $100 mail in rebate. In other words, expect to pay $279.99 while in the store, then sit back and wait for your $100 to come back in the mail. Additionally, you will also need to sign a two year contract to secure that price.

Feature wise, the Moment has a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a touchscreen display, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth, microSD card slot and 3-megapixel camera with zoom. Additionally, the Moment ships with a 2GB microSD card for storage.

It should also be pointed out that a plus for choosing an Android handset with Sprint comes in the form of the extra goodies that are included with your calling and data plans. Sprint includes Sprint Navigation, Sprint TV, NFL Mobile Live, NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile as well as unlimited messaging and unlimited data.
