Video of Dell’s Android MID “Streak” hits the net

Dell has already confirmed that it will bring an Android smartphone to a U.S. carrier, and now we get a look at a Dell mobile internet device (MID) that’s also running Android. The Dell Streak is a MID that has an 800 x 480 capacitive touchscreen and multitouch functionality. There’s also a 5 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G, and a 1,300 mAh battery.

The Streak comes with Android 2.0 and judging from the leaked hands-on video below, it runs pretty sweet. Our 11-fingered friend from the previous HTC Tattoo leak has returned to show the Dell-branded MID comes with a menu bar, custom onscreen keyboard, and a new way of browsing media content. We’ll keep our eyes open for more info on this device.

UPDATE: Someone messaged me to point out that this device has calling capabilities. Based on the image posted on Tinthe (via AndroidAndMe), incoming calls are possible.
