Android fans over in Russia now have something to look forward to seeing become available, it is the Samsung Spica. Of course, for all of us outside the Russian market, the Spica may have a familiar look because it has also gone by the name of the i5700 and Galaxy Lite.

As of now, the announcement came from Samsung and left out one important detail — who the carrier will be. Otherwise it was noted that the Spica will hit the available category sometime in November and will retail for 14,000 Russian Rubles, which is about $485 US.

Features include a 3.2-inch display, GPS, Compass, microSD/SDHC card slot, a 3.2-megapixel camera and a 1500 mAh battery. Additionally the Spica will be powered by an 800MHz processor and have 128MB RAM.
