Samsung reportedly sells 100,000 Galaxies in just one months time

Based on numbers coming from Korean website Hankooki.com, it would appear as if Samsung has sold more than 100,000 of the Android-based Galaxy smartphones in Europe during its first month of availability.
Granted, 100,000 certainly does not compare to some of the other smartphones currently on the market, however these are the numbers for just one Android phone, which could lead one to believe that Android is not only growing in popularity but that it also has a nice future ahead.
I do think that it is important to point out that the hankooki website seems legitimate, but I have not seen any reports coming from them in the past — in other words I cannot speculate how accurate their reporting is.
Additionally, one other item that should be noted (again this is based on the Hankooki article) is that the Dream, Magic and Hero (all from HTC) have only sold a combined total of 80,000 units during that same time period. Personally that number sounds a little low.

Something is wrong though. A few weeks ago it was reported how HTC have sold 1M Magic's in what would be a period of 2-3 months (all before the myTouch hitting the US marked btw.). That would be some 300.000 Magic's a month no?!
thats seems logical, but there IS another factor, this particular phone has been preceded by the HTCs, so people have heard and read more about Android, this will only benefit all coming android devices since there is a growing reputation, it would seem that this will be the selling trend with all new devices.
The Samsung phone isn't even available here in Sweden yet (looks like it's coming early october), and last time I checked Sweden was still a part of Europe. Samsung could do even better that this, it they were to include the whole of Europe…
