Documents to Go supports PowerPoint editing, PDF viewing

DataViz has updated its Documents to Go application, which ports much of the Microsoft Office suite features and formatting capabilities for Android. Documents to Go 2.0 now supports the ability to create, view, and edit PowerPoint files, as well as the ability to view PDF files on an Android device.

PowerPoint editing was not included in the first version of Docs To Go, but users can now create or edit files with formatting geared for Office 2003 and 2007. Slideshow to Go will allow PowerPoint users to flick through slides and view notes to practice their presentations, or even edit and tweak their PowerPoint files on their morning commute or business trip. PDF to Go brings PDF functionality with options for page view, word wrap, bookmarks, search, and copy text among other features.

DataViz requires users to download Documents To Go 2.0 Main App from the Android Market and then purchase the DocumentsToGo Full Version Key for $29.99 in order to unlock the following:

  • Adobe® PDF support
  • Microsoft® PowerPoint® support
  • Create new files
  • Edit, recalculate & save changes
  • Open Password-protected files
  • Advanced viewing & zooming
  • ‘Live Folder’ for recently used docs
  • And more

If you simply want to VIEW Word and Excel files, you can download the main app for free.
