Rumor: T-Mobile and HTC in development on an Android powered netbook

Once again the Android netbook rumors have begun to circulate, except this time the rumor involves two companies that have already been working with Android — they are HTC and T-Mobile.

The details are coming courtesy of TmoToday who claim to have received the tip from an anonymous source, unfortunately the details are almost non-existent, which is not all that shocking with a rumor like this.

What we have so far is that it looks like the netbook will be running Android and be 3G-capable. Normally, these rumors are nothing more than rumors, however in this case due to the two companies, I would say that it could be a possibility. Further details from the tipster suggest that we could see this device before the end of the year.

T-Mobile has obviously seen something in Android with the G1, and HTC also appears to be committed with multiple devices now. Given that, we also saw HTC offer up some smaller devices such as the Advantage and Shift in the past. Either of which could make a nice little Android device. Sounds interesting to me.
