T-Mobile begins the Cupcake roll-out

Android OS
Word on the street Internet is that T-Mobile has begun to roll out Cupcake to those in both the US and UK. The news is expected, after all we did see the update roll out to the Developer handsets earlier in the week, but at the same time it seems rather exciting.
Sadly, I have not yet gotten the update myself, nor have I personally spoken with anyone who has. I have however seen a few online reports from users claiming they have gotten the update. Basically, this leaves me wishing I could update now. Given that, feel free to brag and leave a comment below if you have received your Cupcake.

I tried checking for updates after I noticed several comments on the Android market about people already having 1.5; but no luck. Hopefully I will have it soon.
Did you try requesting the update from the Settings menu yet? I remember the most previous update allowed you to check for updates yourself instead of waiting.
I ate a Cupcake this morning does that count?
I just spoke with a T-Mobile customer service rep. They do not have a specific date set in their system for this. He did however say they did have it set to roll out he just didn't know when. He also mentioned it is rolling out now in the UK so it may be soon.
I got my update last night around 10. I love the new features. Its a lot faster and more stable than haykuro's builds and none of my apps have had compatibility problems. I hope ya'll get the update soon, its nice.
I just checked System Updates: "Your system is currently up to date." And yet, no Cupcake.
I really wish T-Mobile would do a better job communicating to their reps (or allowing them to communicate with us) more. They still can't/won't tell me when my area will get 3G!
I guess T-Mo is only rolling it out to a certain amount of people each day. what area are you tho? I know a roadmap got leaked of who can expect the next tier of 3g
Bo – Are you in a 3G area?
Where is the leaked road map? Can you post a link?
No, I am in Fort Collins CO. but this summer, I will be in Colorado Springs which is supposed to be getting 3G this May/June.
Grr… false alarm… At least we know it's closer to a general release. Don't we?
Just to give a little update,
I have spoken with a close friend (in the US) who has received the update. Unfortunately, I have (like others) yet to get anything. And the wait continues…
Does your friend have a rooted/non-standard G1?
