We have seen T-Mobile gradually rolling out their 3G coverage for a little while now, and it seems like they are planning to keep that up moving forward in 2009. Their goal is that they will be able to offer 200 million subscribers with 3G speeds by the end of the year.
This new goal is an increase from their 2008 goal of “more than 100 million.” As someone who has access to 3G and hates to end up on EDGE, I hope they can not only meet, but also exceed their 2009 goal.
Lets just hope that we see an increase in Android-based phone models become available, that sounds like a good way to help T-Mobile increase their 3G user base.
