Truphone, a developer of Wi-Fi enabled phone software, unveiled today the Google Android version of its popular Truphone Anywhere application. It is available as a download through the Android Market.
Truphone says its Anywhere application lets one make low-cost international voice calls, as well as instant message others though a variety of networks. Users call also call others through Google Talk and will soon be able to call and instant message others via Skype.
A German version of Truphone Anywhere for Android is available and will be the first native language multi-communications application in the Android Market. This is in addition to the United States and UK versions launched today.
